Accommodation

Students live in the New College Residences which provide a safe and secure environment on the University of Toronto’s downtown campus. The dormitory-style living facilities offer each student a comfortable and air conditioned room with high-speed internet access. Students living in residence have the unique opportunity to learn about different cultures, live with classmates from around the world, and practice communicating in English.

Students are assigned to single and double rooms based on availability. We do accept rooming requests, but cannot guarantee that we will be able to accommodate them.

Each room has:

  • Window
  • Single Bed with Linens
  • Desk with Chair
  • Wardrobe with Full-Length Mirror
  • Telephone
  • High Speed Internet Connection
  • Swipe Card Access

Computer Access

Students will have access to New College’s Computer Lab which is fully equipped with 30 high speed computer stations. High-speed internet connection is also available in each residence room, but students must provide a personal laptop computer.

Telephone Access

All students will have a phone in their room which can be used free of charge for local calls. This phone will receive incoming international and domestic calls. Students will be able to make outgoing international calls using a phone card. Phone cards are available for purchase at nearby convenience stores a few minutes walk from the residence.
